Bangkok
Bangkok: Known as the country of smiles, Thailand never ceases to amaze all travelers who decide to approach one of the most international destinations in Asia.
Its hospitality, its ancient culture, its enviable climate, its paradisiacal beaches, an exceptional landscape, its unforgettable and ancient healing therapies… make Thailand one of the ten most visited tourist destinations on the planet. As the political, economic, cultural, gastronomic and spiritual capital of Thailand, Bangkok boasts both the classic and cultural charm that permeates throughout the country and modern conveniences. Those who enjoy their holidays in Bangkok will quickly fall in love with each of its corners for everything they offer: from exotic temples that speak for themselves of Thailand’s deep-rooted Buddhist history to modern malls, which have turned shopping in an essential part of a vacation in Thailand and in its capital.
Phi Phi Island
One of the most unique and attractive island groups in the world, Koh Phi Phi is an idyllic haven that boasts a series of beaches with a variety of accommodation options and plenty of outdoor activities. Known as the “jewels of the Andaman Sea”, there are six islands in Mu Koh Phi Phi-Nopparathara National Park: Phi Phi Don, Phi Phi Ley, Bamboo Island, Yung Island, Bida Nok and Bida Nai. Only Phi Phi Don is inhabited; all others are undeveloped and protected by their National Park status and are frequently visited for day trips. Phi Phi Ley was featured in the Hollywood hit movie The Beach where Maya Bay was a good choice as it epitomizes the stunning beauty of these islands: a bay of aquamarine waters surrounded by high limestone cliffs sheltering a sandy beach. White. The waters surrounding the Phi Phi Islands are teeming with exotic marine life including docile leopard sharks, snorkeling, diving and day trips become the main attractions on Koh Phi Phi. The island also boasts a vibrant nightlife, Tonsai Beach, a labyrinth of shops, bars and restaurants.
Floating Markets
One of the many tourist attractions that Thailand has, are the many floating markets that run through the capital. It is common for Thais to serve local people from their boats, something that leaves tourists speechless, who approach them fascinated. It is a very different concept than what we have here “going to the market” and you will even be able to taste Thai dishes on board, it will be a fun and unique experience that you can only enjoy in Thailand. That is why it is highly recommended to visit at least one of them. The most touristy, Damnoen Saduak, is the largest floating market in Bangkok and the one that is open every day, perhaps for this reason, it brings together numerous foreigners in search of the most authentic photographic stamp. Sometimes there is even a caravan of boats which is tremendous fun.
