PETRA
Petra, capital of the Kingdom of the Nabataeans between the 3rd century BC, arriving by a narrow path of a mile long, known as the “Siq Walk”, through huge rock towers, and you will admire the iconic “Khazneh”, treasure spit entirely by hand in pink stone, the Roman Theater, the Corinthian Tomb and the Palace of the Tomb. Petra will remain forever in our memory, because it is simply a mystical place, a walk through Madaba, the city of mosaics, Mount Nebo, the place from where the prophet Moses saw the Promised Land, and where he is supposedly buried, you can bathe in the Dead Sea, whose shores are more than 400 meters below sea level, the lowest point on dry land and its famous hypersaline waters that allow easy floating, and its mineral-rich black mud used for therapeutic treatments and cosmetics at area resorts. And if you like adventure, you can spend one or two nights in the Wadi Rum desert, in the south of the country, where Lawrence of Arabia walked, considered one of the most beautiful in the world.
